Reasons to be cheerful

So when I was rejoycing in my Vinyl collection in Lisbon last month, I was very sad to see that most of the Stiff records I had were pretty badly scratched! Most of them were my brother's, who really got me into Stiff (being the oldest one). I love this label. It shows that Good Pop is more subversive than Punk.

So I bougth the box set and I am in heaven! Here are some reasons to be cheerful -- and remember "If it ain't stiff, it ain't worth a..."

Ian Dury - Hit me with your rhythm stick
Ian Dury - Sex and Drugs & Rock and Roll
Lene Lovich - Lucky Number
Elvis Costello - Watching the Detectives
Desmond Dekker - Israelites
Jona Lewie - You'll always find me in the kitchen at parties
Madness - Baggy Trousers
Madness - One Step Beyond
Madness - My Girl
Dave Stewart with Barbara Gaskin - It's my party
Tracey Ullman - You broke my heart in 17 places
Dr. Feelgood - Don't wait up
Kirsty MacColl - A New England
Furniture - Shake like Judy says

Comments:
Hi there!
I'm not sure if this is the right way to do this... But I'll give it a go anyway. I'm a collector of Stiff Records, and I'm in desperate need of a few Portugese pressings.

Can anyone help me with a good Portugese record store that sells vinyl records on Internet?

Please, drop me a mail: tobbe@buythehour.se

Many thanks!

Tobbe
