Sometimes you look at a certain narrative and you see a problem. You express how you see the problem only to be hit on the head by people who say you have no right to look at the problem that way. Then you realize that many others have seen the problem the way you do, especially the people who actually suffer that problem in their daily lifes. Let's just say I was happy to find out about the whole debate that black feminists have been raising with the hashtag #solidarityisforwhitewomen. I don't necessarily agree with everything that is expressed with such a hashtag, but I am happy to see a vigorous debate on that topic.
